Carysfort Hall is the centerpiece of our 30,000 square feet of function space blending contemporary comfort with advanced capabilities. Bring the beauty of Ocean Reef Club to every gathering with our spectacular outdoor options or spice up your next program by holding an intimate chef’s table demonstration or a hands-on cooking class in our Carysfort Cooking School. Town Hall is our largest ballroom with 7,500 square feet of flexible space conveniently located next to Carysfort Hall. There are endless ways participants can unwind and relax without the need to leave the property. Embark on a water adventure from our full service 175-slip marina. Enjoy world-class fishing, eco-kayak tours, and our ever-popular “Power Boat Poker Run”. Dive or snorkel America’s only living coral reef just minutes offshore. Ocean Reef Club’s partnership with the Coral Restoration Foundation allows participants to contribute by helping outplant coral and putting life back into the ocean. In addition to our endless amenities on the water, Ocean Reef Club also offers: over 12 restaurants and lounges, two championship golf courses, a 12,000 square foot Salon & Spa, 12 tennis courts, six pickleball courts, a private airport with a 4,400 foot airstrip, Nature Center, miniature golf, a fitness center, and over 20 eclectic shops in the Fishing Village. The first undersea park in the United States, John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park and the adjacent Florida Keys National Marina Sanctuary cover approximately 178 nautical miles of coral reefs, seagrass beds and mangrove swamps. The park contains a wide variety of tropical vegetation, shore birds and marine life. While the mangrove swamps and tropical hammocks offer visitors a unique and interesting experience, it is the coral formations and associated marine life that most park visitors come to enjoy. The park offers guided nature walks, glass bottom boat and snorkel tours, SCUBA diving, boat ramps and slips, canoeing and kayaking, fishing, swimming and a Visitor's Center with natural history exhibits.

This marine park in Islamorada is the second oldest marine mammal facility in the world and features a large lagoon where dolphins cavort and perform. A marine exhibit includes a collection of gamefish, such as bonefish, tarpon, snook and redfish. Following orientation programs, visitors have the opportunity to swim separately with dolphin, sea lions and sting rays.

Designated on November 16, 1990, Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary is one of 14 marine protected areas that make up the National Marine Sanctuary System. Administered by NOAA, a federal agency, and jointly managed with the State of Florida, Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary protects 2,900 square nautical miles of waters surrounding the Florida Keys, from south of Miami westward to encompass the Dry Tortugas, excluding Dry Tortugas National Park. The shoreward boundary of the sanctuary is the mean high-water mark, essentially meaning that once you set foot in Keys waters, you have entered the sanctuary. Within the boundaries of the sanctuary lie spectacular, unique, and nationally significant marine resources, from the world’s third largest barrier reef, extensive seagrass beds, mangrove-fringed islands, and more than 6,000 species of marine life. The sanctuary also protects pieces of our nation’s history such as shipwrecks and other archeological treasures. Visitors to the sanctuary are encouraged to take advantage of the many recreational activities this amazing ecosystem has to offer, including world-class diving, swimming, snorkeling, and fishing. However, rules and regulations are in place to make sure that these activities only happen in ways – and at places – that reduce user conflict and are not harmful to the sanctuary’s natural and cultural resources.
