Active from 1st June 2025, The city visitor charge is a statutory fee that is collected from all paid accommodation, it is chargeable at £2 plus VAT (at the prevailing rate), per room per night, for all guests, added to the final accommodation invoice. The statutory fee is collected from all paid accommodation establishments that fall into the Liverpool ABID zone and is similar to established schemes in cities across Europe.
