Hotel Cafe Royal features guest amenities from CHOPARD with a vegan-friendly formula, which are certified with eco-label Cradle to Cradle (C2C), and are made from 100% recycled PET and are biodegradable.

Yes, Air conditioning system uses stored energy from a wheel heater exchange, resulting in 100% fresh air generated by renewable energy Heat pumps contribute to WKO storage utilising existing energy to create required temperatures to counteract the seasons

Partnering with key bodies and organisations will allow Hotel Café Royal to operate ethically and sustainably whilst being held accountable for our contribution to a Sustainably Composed society. - Green Globe is a worldwide organisation that audits its members yearly according to internationally accepted sustainability criteria. These criteria are truly extensive, and as such, Hotel Café Royal is thrilled to be Green Globe certified and accredited, the first hotel in the UK to achieve this status. - Together with our carbon administration partner Klappir, we are mapping out the complete carbon footprint of Hotel Café Royal, including scope 1,2 and 3 emissions. Closely monitoring our usage, data and CO₂e tracking the effects of our sustainability efforts in our CO₂e emissions. - Lastly, we utilise a global platform for measuring and offsetting carbon emissions. Every time a guest books a stay with us, we automatically offset its carbon emissions by contributing to a selection of global initiatives that directly aid local communities whilst help increase renewable energy resources globally.
