The Radisson Blu Polar Hotel is the world’s northern most hotel located just 1333km from the North Pole. The property is surrounded by snow-capped mountains in the heart of the Arctic wilderness with 123 rooms, a stylish restaurant, gastropub and meeting facilities for up to 140 guests. In addition to Radisson Blu Polar Hotel's internal meeting spaces, we also can provide a wide variety of meeting venues from luxury cabins and board rooms for 18 delegates, to event spaces suitable for a 350 pax gala dinner within our nearby venues in Funken Lodge and Huset restaurant. Longyearbyen offers a whole host of wilderness activities and as part of Hurtigruten Svalbard, planning an event at Radisson Blu Polar Hotel we can ensure any event is the perfect combination of professional meetings and adventure activities, wildlife viewing and dining varied from fine dining to wilderness dinners.

A lot of people thought it was pretty cool, even before The New York Times wrote about it. But that was all pre-pandemic, and this is a new era.
