Cresta Mahalapye is a fully licensed hotel with a 24 hour front desk. Cresta Mahalapye is located in the Central District of Mahalapye, 180 kilometres from Gaborone, the capital city of Botswana on the highway to Francistown, the country's second capital city. Cresta Mahalapye has proved popular for major local, regional and international conferences due to its state of the art meeting and banqueting facilities. In addition to the several indoor meeting rooms , Cresta Mahalapye's open terrace on the first floor is ideal for private functions including corporate cocktail parties and outdoor weddings. Our team will assist in ensuring that your event is a resounding success. There are 64 bedrooms including presidential suites and junior suites. The hotel is ideal for conferences, seminars, weddings, exhibitions, events, board meetings, etc.

Once upon a time in 2016, Matt Levy, founder of Covert Cocktail Club, hosted a secret speakeasy as an intimate place for strangers to gather in his home. The only way to find out about it was via word of mouth. No address was given, the only clue being a sign placed in the window, “Cocktails Here”.
A lot of people thought it was pretty cool, even before The New York Times wrote about it. But that was all pre-pandemic, and this is a new era.
