Hotel 3 Paardekens, the oldest and once the only hotel in Mechelen, recently opened its doors again. Come and experience the feeling of waking up at the foot of St.-Rombouts Cathedral in the heart of the city. What started years ago as ‘Afspanning De Drij Peerdekens’ is now transformed into a contemporary hotel with a distinct feeling of warmth and cosiness. The renovation was not easy, but we are rightly proud of the result, having breakfast in the glass room on the top floor, just below the carillon of our Malines pride. The 33 rooms of Hotel 3 Paardekens were completely rebuilt and refurbished in 2010. Everything is there to welcome you with the comfort of a 3-star hotel. The atmosphere photos in the rooms make you literally wake up underneath the tower in the heart of Mechelen. Meetings and receptions can be organized in the breakfast room or restaurant space on the ground floor.

OUR GOAL We endeavor to build touristic scavenger hunts that mix easy and tough challenges, that are family friendly and fun. Moreover, we really try to provide insight and discovery about the city you are visiting. Who doesn’t enjoy traveling, movies, music, games, and room escape challenges? We figured if we’d have fun building and testing these Tourist Scavenger Hunts, you would also enjoy doing them. This new way of discovering a city via a walking tour with various challenges is a great way to learn about its history and discover its layout. Simple And Fun Each Tourist Scavenger Hunt is around 40 steps, 2-3 hours in duration on a 3-4km circuit which brings you back to the start.
