Dryburgh Abbey Hotel is located in Melrose town of Scotland. Nestled in a magnificently wooded private estate on the banks of the River Tweed and immediately adjacent to the historic Dryburgh Abbey. The Hotel is situated in the heart of the Scottish Borders and only one hour away from Edinburgh and Newcastle. The Hotel sits adjacent to Dryburgh Abbey, burial place of Sir Walter Scott. The hotel consists of 38 comfortable 4 star en-suite bedrooms, some with views of the river or Abbey, two luxury Tower Suites. The hotel offers 3 meeting rooms suitable for business meetings and conferences for up to 150 people.

The only way to find out about it was via word of mouth. No address was given, the only clue being a sign placed in the window, “Cocktails Here”. A lot of people thought it was pretty cool, even before The New York Times wrote about it. But that was all pre-pandemic, and this is a new era. Liberated from the confines of a single location, Covert Cocktail Club now brings the speakeasy right to your door—be it at your home, office, bar mitzvah, dinner party, bachelor/ette party or anywhere you choose!
