Hotel Pienzenau is situated in the beautiful and quiet location of Merano, surrounded by castles, villas and parks, nearby the botanical Garden of Castel Trauttmansdorff. It features dreamlike-rose roof terraces with magnificent panoramic view over Merano and surroundings. The guest rooms are elegantly decorated & offer a pleasant stay. All double rooms and suites are in country house style, furnished with an elegant and clear line by the coulour line of Laura Ashley. The hotel also offers space for meetings, workshops, seminars as well as birthdays, weddings & other private events.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
