Hotel Borgmestergaarden - Middelfart Byferie is situated in the centre of Middelfart's harbour promenade, between the "Island of Culture", the Old Port, the pedestrian street, the square and Middelfart church, lies Borgmestergaarden (The Mayor's Estate). The scheduled building from 1842 was modernized, and a new building was constructed out towards the sea, giving a total of 2 double rooms, 12 hotel and holiday apartments and 49 beds (or 22 single rooms).
