Grohmann Museum

The museum building is as unique as the collection housed within. Once an automobile dealership, and then the Federal Reserve Bank, the building was renovated to become the Grohmann Museum. After cooking for several years around Chicago and Madison, she saw how much was going to waste of this fantastic Midwestern produce. She envisioned owning a cafe that focused on delicious local produce. Hence, the Ugly Apple was born. Like the story of the Ugly Duckling, the Ugly Apple might not be bought at market but can still make a beautiful fritter.
