The Hotel IL Gelso Bianco is located in a quiet oasis. Just seven minutes from international Catania Airport "Fontanarossa". At six kilometers of the center of Catania and 500m to the "Tangenziale Ovest", a freeway that connect Catania with Messina, Siracusa and Palermo. The Ideal Position for who come in Sicily for business or for tourism. Of the 91 rooms of which the hotel it arranges, 11 is with bathtub and 76 with shower. Our Center offer conference halls with a seating capacity of 10 to 250 provided with the most advanced equipment and comfortable furnishings. Meeting Rooms and halls of various sizes with desks, chair and audiovisual equipment. Halls for special displays and exhibitions, fashion shows and conventions.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels.
When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.

Who doesn’t enjoy traveling, movies, music, games, and room escape challenges? We figured if we’d have fun building and testing these Tourist Scavenger Hunts, you would also enjoy doing them. This new way of discovering a city via a walking tour with various challenges is a great way to learn about its history and discover its layout.
Simple And Fun
Each Tourist Scavenger Hunt is around 40 steps, 2-3 hours in duration on a 3-4km circuit which brings you back to the start.
