Our name honors our cherished place in nature, as well as our hometown of Montauk. MARRAM is the name of the sea grass that grows on the dunes and holds them together. ‘Mar’ the Spanish word for sea — nods to our home on the Atlantic and the legendary surf outside our doorstep. The symmetry of the palindrome MARRAM represents an equal reflection of land, sea, sky, and horizon. We seek to inspire this balance between our guests and the landscape that surrounds them.
