Inspired by the spirit of the destination it proudly serves, our prestigious hotel rests on the original site of the Louisiana Masonic temple, initially constructed in 1891 and designed by James Freret — the first native-born New Orleans architect to achieve national prominence. Original exquisite design features are still in place today including the authentic iron doors that grace the entrance of the building, stained glass windows and original ornate ceilings. Yes, Hilton is committed to reducing waste across our portfolio. All of our hotels were required to remove plastic straws, stir sticks and cocktail picks in 2019, and we are currently transitioning from individual bath toiletries to full-size dispensers.
