Our unique location allows you to walk straight down onto the sandy beach of Porth, it is this secluded beach location that makes Glendorgal Hotel the perfect relaxing place to escape to, and yet it is just a short stroll from Newquay town centre. All the 26 hotel rooms at the stunning Glendorgal Hotel are en-suite, decorated in a chic, charming seaside style and have comfortable and beach style interiors. Glendorgal Hotel also offers an outstanding venue location in Cornwall, for business conferences through to weddings. We have a perfect suite for private parties and functions.

Over the past fifteen (15) years, we’ve grown from one (1) Thriller vessel to the current operation of three (3) Thriller Vessels, and one (1) Thriller Miami Hurricane that were built for Miami’s character, charm, and local culture.
Open 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
First tour departs at 11:00 am during the week, and 10:00 am during the weekend and holidays. Last tour depends on the sunset, which varies by season.

Once upon a time in 2016, Matt Levy, founder of Covert Cocktail Club, hosted a secret speakeasy as an intimate place for strangers to gather in his home. The only way to find out about it was via word of mouth. No address was given, the only clue being a sign placed in the window, “Cocktails Here”.
A lot of people thought it was pretty cool, even before The New York Times wrote about it. But that was all pre-pandemic, and this is a new era.
