The Papillo Hotel is located in the Borgo Antico (old town) of San Pantaleo, which is in the district of Olbia. San Pantaleo is one of the most picturesque small towns in Sardinia: small one storey houses surround the village church, with the magnificent backdrop of the great granite mountains which rise like monoliths around the village, providing a spectacular setting. During the summer the town springs to life, every week there is a market in the piazza selling a combination of bric a brac, antiques and work by local artists, drawing visitors from all parts of the region. The Papillo Hotel is an oasis of peace and serenity, located the midst of such natural beauty it is an ideal place for a holiday devoted to relaxing. The hotel has fresh water swimming pool, which is treated with active oxygen and has a hydromassage area. There is also a shuttle bus, which is available to guests who wish to visit the Rena Bianca beach and the picturesque local port of Portisco.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
