Hotel Zeelandia Suites stands along a beautiful square, in the heart of the liveliest entertainment center of Paramaribo. The many trees in the square produce a country-like atmosphere right in the middle of the city. The area where Hotel Zeelandia Suites is situated, is called SUP. The SUP did not only develop as an entertainment center but also as a center where many conferences are held. Hotel Zeelandia Suites is at walking distance of the historical town center. This old wooden town of Paramaribo is on the World’s Heritage list of the UNESCO. Fort Zeelandia is only 100 meters away from hotel Zeelandia Suites. Fort Zeelandia, a colonial fort in stone, was built by the Dutch in the early 18th century. A historical museum of the “Stichting Surinaams Museum” (Foundation Surinamese Museum) is located in this Fort Zeelandia. Hotel Zeelandia Suites is also nearby the shopping center of downtown Paramaribo. Hotel Zeelandia Suites has nine suites.
