The Tontine Hotel is situated in the heart of Peebles, it is a family run hotel totally geared up to providing you with a wonderful break. For mountain biking accommodation near Glentress, Peebles is only 3 miles away from the world famous Glentress mountain biking Centre; and for a walking break in Peebles, we have some of the finest walking in Southern Scotland on our doorstep. The Tontine Hotel has 36 en-suite bedrooms which are elegantly decorated. Some rooms enjoy lovely views of the river and Tweed Green or for a special occasion, request one of our feature rooms. Our continued refurbishment at The Tontine is faithful to the essential character of the building, with the level of modern amenity designed to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The versatility of Buchan and Adam Rooms enables us to provide the perfect setting for conferences, seminars and training sessions. The Adam Room is ideally placed to cater for wedding receptions, annual dinners and celebration parties, up to a maximum of 90 guests. The Buchan Room offers conference and meeting room facilities for audiences of up to 40 delegate's theatre style.
