A 2-mile long shoreline walk of the Peekskill River Walk connects four riverfront parks: Peekskill Landing, Riverfront Green Park, Peekskill Bay Greenway and Charles Point Park — each with a pavilion. The River Walk is even accessible by water, including low kayak docks, docking for larger vessels and even a boat ramp. Peekskill Bay is but a few feet deep, but rapidly drops off a shelf to a depth of almost 100 feet in the Hudson River. For those wishing to venture beyond the RiverWalk uphill into historic Peekskill by pedal power, there is a bike rental shop.
