A striking 17th century palazzo with a superb collection of modern art, Albergo Pietrasanta is set in the medieval town of Pietrasanta, renowned as an international centre for marble sculpting. Comprising two magnificent buildings with 18th century frescoes, the palazzo has a beautiful sunlit courtyard, a pretty breakfast conservatory and a gymnasium. The entire place exudes a sense of comfort and tranquility. Attractive arched windows, ceilings with hand-painted frescoes and an impressive modern art collection blend perfectly together. Each bedroom is different, classically furnished with extra touches such as vases of fresh flowers, bowls of fruit and books. Spend some time in the romantic courtyard where attentive staff will bring you snacks and drinks under ancient palm trees. Step out to the monuments, sculptures and cafés of Pietrasanta or take a bike ride to the nearby beaches.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
