Located in the heart of Porto, a ten-minute walk from the famous shopping street of Rua de Santa Catarina, the Vila Galé Porto hotel was built in 1999 and renovated in 2015. The metro station Campo 24 de Agosto is located just 100 meters from the hotel and it allows you easy and quick access to anywhere in the city and to the airport. Having cinema as its inspiration, this unit’s common areas are decorated with pictures that recall iconic movie scenes, renowned directors or the most talented actors. Vila Galé Porto offers standard and superior rooms, as well as a restaurant, two bars and multipurpose rooms for events and meetings. On the top floor, you will find the spa, where you can swim in the indoor pool, relax in the hot tub or exercise in the gym, while contemplating what is considered one of the best views over the city. During your stay at this hotel in Porto, take the opportunity to stroll around the Ribeira area, admire Gaia and visit the historical Port Wine Cellars. The House of Music, a work by Rem Kolhaas, or the Serralves Museum of Contemporary Art, designed by the awarded Portuguese architect Álvaro Siza Vieira, are also mandatory stopovers. In the center of this so-called “undefeated” city, make sure you don’t miss the Aliados Avenue, the Cathedral (Sé Catedral), the Clerics Tower (Torre dos Clérigos) and the Stock Exchange Palace.

Vila Galé Porto has a total of 292 bedrooms. Among them, we highlight 40 superior rooms, eleven junior suites and eight superior suites, on the 18th floor. One of the rooms is adapted for people with reduced mobility. Depending on availability, guests may select their room either with a bathtub or shower.
