Stonewall Resort, a rustic AAA Four Diamond lakeside property, combines the pristine surroundings of rolling hills and tranquil lake waters with all the modern amenities required for a successful meeting. This IACC certified resort is located just 3 miles off I-79's Exit 91 and is within 40 miles of the North Central West Virginia Airport – which now features direct flights to D.C. and Chicago. Additionally, Stonewall is an easy drive from the Pittsburgh, Columbus and Charleston airports. Childhood friends were drafted into their country’s service and only one made it home. A graveside promise was made that “I’ll never let anyone forget you guys.” Ron McVaney vowed to keep his promise. He had collected hundreds of pieces of memorabilia over the last thirty-five years. Upon retiring, he told his wife Barbara that the time had come to share their memorabilia with the public. With the help of the Lewis County Board of Education, Lewis County Commission, and the public, the Mountaineer Military Museum became a reality. The museum is open to public, private, organizational and educational tours.

Group cancellation From signature to 2 years prior to arrival 25% of guest room revenues 2 years to 1 year prior to Arrival - 35% of guest room revenues 364 days to 6 months prior to Arrival - 60% of guest room and food & beverage minimum 6 months to 3 months prior to arrival 75% of guest room revenues and food & beverage minimum 3 months prior to Arrival or less - 100% of guest room revenue, food & beverage minimum, and all other anticipated revenue
