Grand Hotel Porro an elegant liberty style building situated close to the centre of Salsomaggiore Terme is owned by Terme di Salsomaggiore one of the most famous thermal spas in the world. The structure is surrounded by a 60.000 sqm beautiful private park where you can admire and walk amongst various millennium trees, discover different type of plants and absorb the scent of it’s many flowers. The establishment offers guests 82 spacious, comfortable, finely decorated rooms, designed to offer a relaxing atmosphere. Modern and updated technologic equipment guarantees the efficiency and quality of your meetings. The hotel detains 3 meeting rooms. The restaurant is tailored to our guests, for special events , Extraordinary Dinner Parties, Unique Wedding Receptions, Celebrations for every occasion , Social events, and important business dinners.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
