The Brass Animals, a brass/jazz/marching band, have delighted audiences of all shapes and sizes at corporate events, weddings, private and special events, and sporting events all over the country. Our sound fuses the popular New Orleans-style brass band style with an eclectic blend of hip-hop, R&B, funk and pop. Typical performances include explosive renditions of recent favorites by artists like Beyoncé, Harry Styles, Snoop Dogg, and Taylor Swift as well as our own spin on vintage classics by Louis Armstrong, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Herbie Hancock, The Meters and more. Founded in 2014, Sassy City Studio has had ample time to refine our offerings and establish relationships with the right manufacturers to help you create memorable events. Our experience includes collaborations with Destination Toronto, various event planners, and providing staff recognition and corporate gifts for Unity Health, a network of hospitals in Toronto. The foundation of our product line is the renowned artwork of local artist David Crighton, who has been capturing the essence of your city through his memorable images since 1973.
