Shimoda, on southeast end of Izu Peninsula, is blessed with a warm climate. Indigo ocean, sea breezes, and seasonal flowers all give a distinctly island feel. Visiting nearby historical sites is another pleasure. Shimoda Tokyu Hotel, overlooking the bay, has a panorama of Izu Shichito islands on a clear day, and a nearby beach of beautiful white sand. There is also an outdoor bath overlooking the entire Izu beach area. There are a total of 115 rooms equipped with internet access and all the necessary amenities for guest rest and relaxation. Banquet halls and Conference rooms are also available for business meeting, celebration and functions.
