In the very heart of the beautiful, historic town of Shrewsbury, The Lion Hotel combines stunning 16th century architecture with every contemporary comfort. Famous for its exceptional function rooms, its warm and friendly welcome and its wonderfully traditional character, The Lion Hotel is perfectly situated to enable guests to enjoy all that this unique area has to offer. The Lion Hotel has retained a wealth of period features including the magnificent Tudor fireplace, the Tapestry Lounge and the fully panelled Oak Bar, yet also provides guests with all the modern comforts they expect. The Lion Hotel has 4 conference rooms, the largest of which can accommodate up to 200 delegates of for smaller meetings needing a greater degree of privacy; we have our comfortable Pickwick Room. The Lion Hotel offers a very professional service at very competitive prices.

Over the past fifteen (15) years, we’ve grown from one (1) Thriller vessel to the current operation of three (3) Thriller Vessels, and one (1) Thriller Miami Hurricane that were built for Miami’s character, charm, and local culture. Open 7 days a week, 365 days a year. First tour departs at 11:00 am during the week, and 10:00 am during the weekend and holidays. Last tour depends on the sunset, which varies by season.
