Known as the Dracula Region, Transylvania is also Prince Charles residence - Viscri Village UNESCO Patrimony. For many years now, Prince Charles feels passionately that it’s the last corner of Europe where there’s still a real balance between mankind and nature that should be seen and preserved. Sibiu, “The medieval charm of Transylvania” is a vibrant town, animated and filled with culture. It holds one of the best preserved historical sites in the country, many of its medieval fortifications having been kept in excellent state. The city legacy and a variety of famous international festivals and cultural events designated Sibiu as Europe's Capital of Culture in 2007. Is the only city in Romania ranked 3-star Michelin in the Michelin Green Guide - meaning "must see". According to Frommer’s, the world leader of traveling guides, Sibiu was one of the top 13 world holidays’ destinations at the end of 2008. Also in 2008, Forbes recommends Sibiu (position 8 in top European destinations) as an idyllic and unpolluted space, beside Copenhaga, Rome and Ljublyana. In 2014 “The Huffington Post” included Sibiu in top 10 “The Most Charming Towns In Europe You'll Want To Visit”.

Has your hotel taken steps to reduce single-use plastics, such as removing plastic straws (except upon request for guests with disabilities), stirrers and cotton buds? If yes, please provide detail as to the steps you have taken to reduce single use plastics?
Yes, Hilton is committed to reducing waste across our portfolio. All of our hotels were required to remove plastic straws, stir sticks and cocktail picks in 2019, and we are currently transitioning from individual bath toiletries to full-size dispensers.
Does your hotel generate (onsite) or purchase (offsite) renewable energy (beyond your utility's standard offerings)? If yes, please describe your practices for generating or purchasing renewable energy.
Does your hotel engage in activities to protect & restore the natural environment in which it is located (i.e. trees planted, coral reef restored, etc.)?
Will your hotel be imposing any additional fees for cleaning services? If yes, please specify those fees.
