Hotel Monteconero stands at the top of the Conero promontory at an altitude of 550m. In the middle of Conero Regional Park, the hotel enjoys an enchanting position with a view of the Adriatic sea and the gentle hills of the Marches. Ideal for a relaxing holiday, the hotel also offers the opportunity to make excursions along the Conero Park's nature trails or to play golf. The hotel has 50 en suite bedrooms in the monastery and 9 suites in the guest wing which was formally a villa. The rooms are tastefully furnished reflecting the sobriety of the Romanesque style. The two meeting rooms are very functional, equipped with modern equipments. The rooms can hold up to 200 persons. The dining room can also be hired for private weddings and functions.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
