Sofia Balkan Palace is located in the heart of Sofia. Our 5-Star hotel is an iconic landmark building (part of the Presidency complex), located within easy walking distance from the vibrant city life with numerous restaurants, bars, night clubs, cafes, shops nearby.The venue offers rooms with all the modern amenities for your comfortable stay. The venue has a fully equipped meeting rooms. Our magnificent hotel offers 250 soundproofed guest rooms, of which 105 Deluxe King rooms, 30 Deluxe Twin rooms, 94 Deluxe Suite rooms, 11 Junior Suites, 9 Executive Suites and 1 Presidential Suite. The 1,419 sq.m total ballroom and banquet space in the hotel is completed by our 3 ballrooms - Royal, Serdica, Sredetz and Rila meeting room with a total capacity of 1,140 guests.

The National Archaeological Museum is an archaeological museum in the centre of Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. It occupies the building of the largest and oldest former Ottoman mosque in the city, originally known as Koca Mahmut Paşa Camii. The construction started in 1451 under grand vizier Veli Mahmud Pasha but due to his death in 1474 the mosque has been completed in 1494. The museum was established as a separate entity in 1893 as the National Museum directed by Czech Václav Dobruský with its headquarters in the former mosque that previously housed the National Library between 1880 and 1893.
The museum was officially opened and inaugurated in 1905, as by then all archaeological exhibits previously kept all over the city were moved there, in the presence of Knyaz Ferdinand of Bulgaria and Minister of Enlightenment Ivan Shishmanov.

The National Palace of Culture - Congress Centre Sofia (NDK) is the largest multifunctional complex in Southeastern Europe.
The Palace was officially opened in 1981 to mark 1300 years since the founding of the Bulgarian state. It was designed to host a wide range of events such as international conventions, official meetings, conferences, symposia, discussion panels, exhibitions, festivals, concerts. The Palace is located in downtown Sofia and is surrounded by a park area.
The main building was designed by arch. Alexander Barov and his team of architects, and the design of the surrounding areas is the work of arch. Atanas Agura and team. The park area was designed by landscape architect Valentina Atanassova.
