Sutherland House Hotel and fish Restaurant is located on Southwold High Street, and is one of the oldest and most historically important buildings in Southwold. The historical features of a house dating back to 1455, and having Two Star listed status, contrast with comfortable but contemporary furnishings and sumptuous fabrics. Our bedrooms have respected the shape of the original rooms, therefore the rooms are of a very generous size, and have fabulous original features. A sleigh bed under a 1660 pargetted ceiling or a six foot, double ended slipper bath in front of a massive fireplace are two of the highlights. This accommodation is boutique, but in an amazing medieval building, truly unlike any other Hotel bedrooms in Southwold. We have a beautiful function room in the garden of Sutherland House which can be used for weddings, lunches, dinners and meetings for up to 60 guests.

Over the past fifteen (15) years, we’ve grown from one (1) Thriller vessel to the current operation of three (3) Thriller Vessels, and one (1) Thriller Miami Hurricane that were built for Miami’s character, charm, and local culture. Open 7 days a week, 365 days a year. First tour departs at 11:00 am during the week, and 10:00 am during the weekend and holidays. Last tour depends on the sunset, which varies by season.
