Charming House DD724 is located in the sestiere of Dorsoduro, on the Rio Torreselle and on the Fondamenta Venier dei Leoni in Venice. An ‘Inn’ with charm and modern design, DD724 is a boutique hotel created by the architect Mauro Mazzolini who has completed many projects through Italy, including Umbria where he resides. DD724 is situated next to the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, a few steps from the Cini Palace, the Galleria dell’Accademia and the Chiesa della Salute in the heart of Venetian art. The goal of the Charming House Hotels is providing exceptional comfort while evoking a depth of feeling and reaction to both Venice and the accommodations, by offering a more authentically Venetian way of experiencing it. The hotel offers 7 rooms.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
