Il Chiostro Hotel is located in the historical centre of Verbania, a town on the western shore of Lake Maggiore, surrounded by the beauty of the lake and of the Alps. Our thirteen halls, from the more discreet and cosy ones for small meetings to the bigger and more equipped ones for conferences, are the perfect place to work and the hotel, as a whole, can accommodate up to 500 guests. “Il Chiostro” Hotel, a 17th century monastery, offers 100 wide, soberly elegant and modernly equipped single, double and triple rooms.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
