After now almost 20 years since an old farmhouse of 1923 has become Monvej Albergo - Ristorante, "the old brick 'in the local dialect: its name comes from more than 5,000 bricks recovered and cleaned by hand one by one during the renovation! Monvej Albergo - Ristorante have 10 rooms with minibar, safe and internet connection, to give you the opportunity to relax after an extensive dinner or to spend a weekend pampered and served. Since we will be easy to forget the chaos of the city! The restaurant is divided into three rooms: two rooms, converted from old stables, are intimate, cozy rooms suitable for dinners for couples and small groups of people. The veranda includes all the back of the farm, has ample light and is suitable for weddings and banquets.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
