Created by the modest man who spent years running Nova Scotia's largest winery and his daughter, Tatamagouche Brewing Company literally toots its own craft beer horn. On brew days, a train whistle on top of the brewery's roof blows in cheerful celebration. Tour the brewery, which has had past lives as a dance hall, a restaurant, a butcher shop and Firestone tire store -- and still boasts its original wooden floor.
