The Jefferson, Washington, DC is a distinguished, sophisticated and discreet 99 guest room luxury hotel located just 4 blocks north of the White House. The hotel opened in 2009 and with the annual re-fresh of rooms exemplifies all that its namesake, Thomas Jefferson, held dear – intricately thought-out design, 19 elegantly appointed suites, the most modern amenities including a petite spa, culinary excellence and, of course, exceptional personalized service. The hotel caters to Washington’s elite and the most discerning travelers – among them U.S. Presidents, Boards of Directors, C-Level Executives, foreign diplomats, dignitaries, world leaders and celebrities. Meetings at The Jefferson are distinguished by a selection of individually designed, intimate spaces that allow one to two small groups to enjoy the full attention of The Jefferson’s warm and attentive staff. The Hotel’s meeting rooms include The Gallatin Room - the hotel’s miniature ballroom measuring 689sf, The Parlor Boardroom our elegantly and well equipped boardroom; and the Private Cellar – our private dining room which houses 1,500 bottles from our Wine Spectator Award winning wine list.

Gallatin Room (Divisible by 2): 689sf, 3 per 6 ft = 30 U-shape; 32 HS; Parlor Boardroom: 496sf; permanent board table seats 16 to 28 or 32 in rounds. Private Cellar: 297 sq; permanent table seats up to 20 Cabinet Rooms: Perfect for one on ones, interviews For a group wishing a separate room for meals, groups up to 26 fit well. For social events & meals, a maximum of 58 in rounds or 80 for a standing reception can be accommodated. Outside catering not permitted.

Individual guest room cancellations must be received 48 hours prior to arrival date to avoid a charge equal to one night's room and tax charges. Group cancellation policies will be negotiated at the time of contract.

Largest Meeting Rooms: * Gallatin 689 sf (Divisible by 2) * Parlor Boardroom 496 sf * Private Cellar 297 sf (Boardroom Set) Location perfect for small high end board meetings & retreats looking for attentive service, discretion and exclusivity. 30 U-Shape or Conference and 32 Hollow Square (all set 3 per 6) are the largest sets we can accommodate. Meals in a separate room in rounds for up to 32. For social events, 44 in rounds or up to 80 in a standing reception can be hosted.
