In 1996, the 4-star hotel "Hotel Seehof" was erected in the same place. It received an award from the DEHOGA. On 1st August, 1996, the hotel was opened and today, it not only enjoys an excellent reputation in the region but also at international level. The hotel has a permanent staff of around 20 multilingual, highly qualified employees. The hotel is situated in a peaceful location, well away from the centre of Wessling as such. Nevertheless Wessling's main road is only around 150 meters away and the S-Bahn train station is within a 3-minute walk. The S-8 line provides a regular train service to Munich and directly to the airport (Franz-Joseph-Strauss). The direct journey to Munich city center takes around 30 minutes. Wessling itself has a population of around 4000, including the surrounding municipalities.
