University Of York - Central Hall is located at Grimston House at the heart of the University of York, North Yorkshire. It is an easily accessible venue from both the A64 and the city centre. It is an ideal venue for a range of events like International conferences, concerts, business meetings, and other type of such gatherings. Central hall is basically a tiered auditorium for up to 1190 delegates or attendees. This auditorium offers a superb venue for large conferences and concerts and can be used in conjunction with the Exhibition Centre which offers large break out spaces and exhibition space measuring 900 square meters. Central Hall is a landmark building at the heart of the University and can hold up to 1190 delegates. The only way to find out about it was via word of mouth. No address was given, the only clue being a sign placed in the window, “Cocktails Here”. A lot of people thought it was pretty cool, even before The New York Times wrote about it. But that was all pre-pandemic, and this is a new era.
