The Nature Foundation of St. Maarten has even designated Captain Oliver’s as a rehabilitation center for injured sea turtles. St. Martin/St. Maarten is know for its Caribbean charm and European flair. Captain Oliver's Resort is located in a prestigious area of the island called Oyster Pond, which is on the east side of the island and straddles the French/Dutch border. St. Martin/Sint Mararten is the smallest island in the world to have dual nationalities.
