The Costa Rica Convention Center (CRCC) is an advanced eco-friendly architectural work inspired by Costa Rican biodiversity, culture and authenticity. The design was conceived to offer unique experiences for visitors in a sustainable, modern and versatile fashion. The CRCC is a country project to meet the demand of business tourism in providing room and better conditions to host and conduct both national and international conferences, conventions and social events. Our Main Features: - 10-hectare property. - Construction area: 15,600 m2. - Meeting rooms: 5,775 m2 . - Main hall: 3,739 m2 area and a capacity for 4,000 people approximately, split into 2 sections. - 6 conference rooms with a capacity for 1,800 people approximately. - Large foyers and 2,085m2 pre-function areas people approximately. - Outdoor parking lot for 1,000 vehicles. - Truck loading/unloading area. - Storage warehouses. The Costa Rica Convention Center is the only sustainably and ecologically designed center in the country intended to protect and make the most of the resources available. Some sustainable design benefits at the Center include: - Reuse of rainwater for irrigation. - Interiors with natural lighting by solar tubs. - Indoor lighting with LED systems. - Water-treatment plant with 400m³ water capacity per day. - Automatic shut-off faucets by mechanical means for most effective use of water. - Use of reflective roofs, walls and sun visors to reduce solar heat. - High-tech and funtional air conditioning with energy saving systems for specific building areas. - Motion sensors for on/off switching. - Solid and liquid waste management, etc.
