About us

The Bell Hotel has been welcoming guests to stay and dine in Sandwich, Kent since Tudor times. A Bell Inn has existed on The Quay, adjacent to the Barbican Gate and Toll, overlooking what would have been the harbour, now the River Stour, since about 1300. Thirty-seven individually decorated en suite bedrooms, a restaurant menu which varies with seasonal availability and a choice of two beautifully function rooms are offered by the hotel. The Bell Hotel Sandwich is the ideal choice as a leisure destination or as a venue for weddings, conferences and private events.
