The Design of the Sandy Spring Museum captures the architectural style and charm of the early 18th century Sandy Spring farm homes and barns. The Museum courtyard is elegant, customizable and just right for a friendly but formal occasion. A private, level grassy area surrounded on three sides by museum buildings, with trees and shrubs on the fourth side. It is excellent for outdoor affairs with or without tenting.
