About us

The Pink Adobe restaurant was established in 1944 by Rosalea Murphy. Known affectionately by locals as “The Pink,” the restaurant has grown into a local and national landmark since its humble beginnings of serving French onion soup and apple pie. The Pink is located in the center of the historic Barrio de Analco, across the street from the San Miguel Mission, the oldest church in the United States, just two blocks south of the Plaza. For over 50 years Rosalea filled her days using her talents and energy to create a unique flavor, décor and personality that makes this restaurant so special. After Rosalea’s passing, the Pink Adobe has continued to honor her work and legacy by keeping The Pink Adobe true to her vision. Today Pink Adobe patrons can enjoy the special atmosphere of the apartment by hosting a private party, wedding rehearsal dinner or business dinner. Whether your occasion calls for an impressive, formal Santa Fe setting, or a more casual atmosphere, we can design the perfect menu for you. The Pink's unique dine-in wine cellar is also a favorite for private parties or romantic dinners. (Maximum of 12 people in each room.) Guests may also reserve any of the restaurant’s main dining rooms depending on the event, date and size of the party.
