After tasting several varieties we head to our lunch stop at one of the most picturesque wineries where we will enjoy our Wine Country picnic lunch.
A wonderful adventure awaits you at the Wildlife Preserves. A safari vehicle transports you while the tour guide explains the history of the animals as well as the history of the Wildlife Preserves. Feed the giraffes and stand in a bird sanctuary with bird seed in hand and watch the birds dine from your hand. A great place to visit for the tour or stay overnight in the cabins at the Preserves.
Founded in 1989, the Pacific Coast Air Museum is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the acquisition, restoration, safe operation and display of historic aircraft, preserving aviation history, and providing an educational venue for students and the community. Beneath the redwood forest’s magnificent and soaring canopy you’ll feel dwarfed, silenced by the trees’ majesty, humbled by their endurance. And there’s simply something about being surrounded by trees that have lived more than a thousand years that slows you down and causes you to reflect. When you leave a redwood forest, the world is never quite the same, at least for a little while.
