The brand new NH Savona Darsena is located in the heart of the historic town’s port, recently returned to the city after a significant refurbishment and conversion of the area. Next to the cruise line terminal, the hotel is part of a modern estate which houses offices and businesses. NH Savona Darsena has 92 modern and elegant designed rooms, perfect both for business travels and for relaxing holidays. The rooms, wide and extremely bright thanks to their big windows, offer large and comfortable beds, LCD Tv and wireless internet connection. The modern and refined atmosphere reflects the elegant and stylish furniture and the informal feel. NH Savona Darsena has 2 function rooms naturally lit with a capacity up to 80 people. Elegance, comfort and functionality are the key features of our facilities.

The Priamar Fortress is a fortress occupying the hill with the same name above the port of Savona. The fortress was built in 1542 by the Republic of Genoa on a promontory where in medieval times was the nucleus of Savona, by design of architect Giovanni Maria Olgiati. However, traces of pre-Roman, Roman and Byzantine presences in the site have been excavated in the past centuries, and are now on display in Savona's Archaeological Museum.

We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
