Rowton Castle is a beautiful 17th century grade II listed building, set in 17 acres of tranquil grounds six miles west from the historic market town of Shrewsbury. A castle has stood in the grounds at Rowton Castle for nearly eight hundred years, seeing many changes and alterations over the centuries. For a small meeting, our charming 18th Century style Georgian Dining Room with painted and gilded panelling is the perfect venue for a maximum of 10 guests. The monkey theme, which has become synonymous with Rowton Castle, is very well represented in this beautiful room. For larger groups, our Cardeston Suite decorated in a gothic style with handsome fireplaces and stunning carved pelmets is the perfect conference venue. he Castle boasts nineteen individually designed bedrooms, six with period four poster beds.
