About us

Enjoy a central location 5 minutes' walk from the town centre at the Scandic Skelleftea hotel. The hotel brings Skelleftea attractions to your doorstep. Shop at the Citykompaniet and visit the Skellefteå Museum. Active guests enjoy skiing and golf, both within 9 miles. Hotel offers 131 comfortable rooms. Our conference centre is suitable for all kinds of meeting arrangements; from intimate meetings with a few selected customers to full-scale congresses with hundreds of participants from all over the world. We can offer experienced staff, 2,400 sqm exhibition space and plenty of exciting activities outside the meeting room. We have 18 conference venues, all with natural daylight and decorated with a fresh Nordic style.

Bonnstan – the Farmers town and it’s history Skellefteå Church Town “Bonnstan” is one of the most well preserved 19th Century Church Towns of its kind and remains pretty much unchanged since it was built between 1830 and 1840. Families who lived miles away and therefore had to travel far to attend the Sunday masses at the city church built a Church Town only as a temporary home. Church towns were built near almost every church in Västerbotten, Norrbotten and the Finnish region of Österbotten.
