The Largo

The Largo is an architectural complex in the center of the city, consisting ot three edifeces, built in Socialism style. The construction began in the 1950s in an area heavily damaged by bombs during WWII.
The ruins of the ancient Thracian and Roman city called Serdika are presented in the underpass between the Presidency and the Council of Ministers buildings. The eastern gate of the fortress had been renovated and exposed within the period 1997 - 1999.

Built in 1907 by the Austrian architects Helmer & Felner, the National Theatre is one of the most ornate buildings in Sofia. The 40 metre high façade, is fronted by a large pediment, supported on six white marble columns, depicting Apollo and the muses. The twin towers that rise up behind are crowned with sculptures of the goddess Nike.The interior was destroyed by fire in 1923, and restored again six years later.

The gallery complex is located near the monument to Vassil Levski in the capital city Sofia and behind “St. Alexander Nevsky”cathedral
It has a collection of over 42,000 art works from the National Art Gallery and the National Gallery for Foreign Art. The exhibition presents about 2,000 art works, half of which are by Bulgarian artists and the other come from Europe, Asia, Africa, and America.

This year, I performed for Arthur Blank’s Super Bowl party with Lilac Wine Trio in New Orleans, and just 2 months later, was invited to perform a solo acoustic set for The Masters and its VIP guests at an event sponsored by IBM in Augusta.
