The property features views over Queens Park and the harbour, and the rooms are complete with fully equipped kitchenettes, large king beds, and plenty of space to work or relax. Guests can also take advantage of Winnies our onside cafe & bar, where guests can relax over breakfast, lunch or an evening meal. We also have an onsite studio gym and laundry. room2 Southampton features 71 rooms starting from our Study at 22m2 up to a large and spacious Master Loft at 34m2. Each room features a king size bed, kitchenette, sofa and dining table. Located in our cafe bar area, the Drawing Room is our semi-private meeting space for up to 12 people. This flexible space can be used for formal meetings, seminars or social events. The space is separated from the cafe by a curtain and features a large boardroom style table, which can be separated for smaller groups plus a tv. Tea / coffee and breakfast / lunch can be provided for an additional cost.

Our primary goal is to reduce emissions as much as possible. However, to maintain our carbon neutral operations we utilise carbon credits to offset residual emissions that cannot be eliminated. In 2024, we offset 74 tonnes of CO2e from room2’s Scope 1 and 2 emissions through Earthly’s forest management and reforestation project in Ejido X-Hazil, Quintana Roo, Mexico. Certified under the Climate Action Reserve’s Mexican Forest Protocol, the project spans nearly 55,000 hectares and focuses on carbon removal, native biodiversity and community empowerment.

Zero single use plastics in bedrooms, and zero to landfill. Plastic materials are collected and processed into 3d printing materials for products.
