El William Cecil de Stamford reabrió sus puertas a finales de julio de 2011 tras una renovación completa por dentro y por fuera. El hotel se encuentra en la magnífica finca Burghley, cuya pieza central es Burghley House, una de las principales casas del tesoro del Reino Unido.
