About us
The Dornier Estate is located in the upper Blaauwklippen Valley, an area famed for its beauty and its excellent wines. At Dornier we cater for a wide range of conferences, functions, events, product launches, photo and film shoots. This tranquil setting is only 50 minutes drive from Cape Town and 30 minutes from the airport. Dornier Homestead, an original Sir Herbert Baker design, is a tranquil country setting amidst the Helderberg and Stellenbosch Mountains and the Dornier vineyards. There are five elegant function rooms where we can accommodate up to 90 guests seated.

Once upon a time in 2016, Matt Levy, founder of Covert Cocktail Club, hosted a secret speakeasy as an intimate place for strangers to gather in his home. The only way to find out about it was via word of mouth. No address was given, the only clue being a sign placed in the window, “Cocktails Here”.
