The hotel Mondschein is located right in the heart of Sterzing, only 150 metres from the pedestrian precinct in an outmost quiet and secure location. As soon as our guests step inside, tranquility and a feeling of security begins for them. Since henceforth over 50 years and three generations the family Gögl takes care of their guests with naturalness and delight. The tradition of special hospitality binds the new arrival to our house. The hotel Mondschein has over 44 double and more bed rooms as well as over five single bed rooms. All rooms have been redecorated thoroughly in the recent years and offer modern three-star comfort. We've attached great importance to design the furnishings as personal as possible for our guests. The guest rooms provide ample space in order to relax and provide a wonderful stay with us in Sterzing. We offer you all possibilities in our historical dining room. All fitments are mobile; we arrange one or more boards for you according to your needs and provide required technology. The visibility conditions of the room (7 x 15 metres) are excellent and are thus also suitable for big events up to 70 persons. We guarantee undisturbed working in natural light (through the big windows) or artificial light. In our newly designed "Fugger-taverna" (100 seats) or in our historical townsmen hall (100 seats) you dine in tasteful atmosphere.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.

Simple And Fun Each Tourist Scavenger Hunt is around 40 steps, 2-3 hours in duration on a 3-4km circuit which brings you back to the start.
